10 ways to feel better

1. Do some exercise

Do some squats or jogging on the spot or go for a nice walk.Just get your heart going.This changes your mood instantly and gets the endorphins running through your body.

If you’re not a big fan but like walking then do the tree or streetlight interval walk (normal pace to one tree then quicker to the next)

Check with your doctor first that you can do exercise and let me know how you get on.

2. Flip your thoughts

”I haven’t any money” Flip it to “I haven’t any money at the moment but this is temporary and I will have soon”

“I’m Overweight” Flip it “I’m not my perfect body weight at the moment but I will soon have my ideal body if I keep eating well and exercising”

Focussing on what you want not what you are or have been will move you closer to your goal.

3. Listen to music

If I’m feeling down there’s nothing like blasting my eardrums till the neighbours are screaming with the likes of messrs Gallagher and Gallagher (Oasis) A bit of ear bleeding heavy stuff like Ac/Dc or a bit of pink and Rihanna depending on my mood. Get your fave sounds on your I phone or download from Spotify and let me know yours.

4. Think about what you love doing

What did you like doing as a kid? Football? Any old hobbies you could start again? (no not drinking) is there something you’ve been putting off doing? If you won the lottery and you didn’t have to ever work again (apart from throwing a massive party and inviting everyone you love and purposely sending an invite to people you’re not so fond off to show off) What would engage and fulfil you? Playing guitar with ripped jeans and Mohican hairdo with a padlock round your neck whilst Jonny Rotten sang? Ok ok its just me! Driving in a car with Lewis Hamilton? What gets you going? 5. Think about who you love

Friends and family? work colleagues? Think about them and picture their faces, get vivid with their looks, their hair, their eye colour ,smile, smell etc. It will put a smile on your face guaranteed.


6. Be grateful

I know, I know, you’ve heard it a million times before, but it’s true. There is always someone worse off. People starving with no fresh water and no home, elderly people on their own scared stiff of going out in case they get Covid. Look around your home and be grateful for the clothes your in ,the food in your cupboard, your kids, your parents, your friends and just be thankful for what you have got.

7. This feeling won’t last

It’s a feeling and it won’t last, and like time it will pass. You might feel rubbish now but there’s always tomorrow! Who knows what the future may bring and good things are coming if you focus on what you want and not what you don’t want or you will get that. Change your state and you change your thought pattern, and visualise something you want in the future like a new car or a nice holiday and really visualise it. Close your eyes and think of the blue sky, the white sand, the crashing waves on the rocks and the breeze in your face and the sun on your back. roll on Greece.

8. Stop drinking alcohol and drink water

Alcohol is a poison FACT.it goes down great ,the buzz and the fizz of a pint of wife beater or San Miguel lovely! But it’s a poison and from the first sip our liver is trying too reject it and repair itself. Just for a month try a glass of H20 with a slice of lemon or even better a glass of warm water and write down everyday how much better you feel and let me know how you get on.

9. Stop eating crap

Mad sugar rushes, headaches, fatigue, nausea, indigestion, up and down mood swings, interrupted sleep pattern! Sound familiar????????? A lot of it is the junk food you’re eating, we all know it tastes good but what about if you only had it 10% of the time and the other 90 you ate a healthy colourful plate of nutritious food? You know it’s healthy when there’s lots of colour on you plate ,the lush greens of broccoli and spinach, the orange of sweet potato mash and the reds of tomatoes and peppers! You can still go out too play with messrs Artois and Miguel with a dirty kebab after but maybe just once a week! Let me know your favourite dishes and unhealthy choices ?

10. Go on a de tox

This is a 7 day body and mind reset and it’s bloody fantastic! I’ve done it recently done it and I’ve never ever felt so good. I’m sleeping better and only getting up once or twice in the night to go to the loo,( before it was 3,4 or 5 times after a heavy night) Also my skin looks better, the bed clothes are still in one place because sleep disturbance is less. I could go on and on like a stuck record but the best thing is to follow my link to Live 120 and just do it!
